What is Acupuncture?

A physician punctures or delivers laser energy to special foci on the skin in the acupuncture. These foci are determined by the doctor according to the diagnosis; the frequency of pricks with steel, gold or silver needles is again determined by the doctor.

Although acupuncture is usually used to treat pain or lose weight, it is mentioned in the first-line treatment of various diseases by the WHO (The World Health Organization).

Acupuncture is a therapy that aims to regulate homeostasis. When the energy homeostasis impairs, an illness being, but healing is observed when the homeostasis is restored. This procedure activates the self-regeneration capacity of the body.

There are 1000 acupuncture points in a human body.
