- Blood tests determine the individual's metabolic, hormonal, hematological status and organ functionality.
- X-rays and ultrasonographic examinations are chief among radiological examinations.
- High-tech tests are also added to procedures that aim to image the organs as necessary.
- Function tests measure the efficiency rates of the heart and respiratory system.
- The aim of endoscopic imaging is to reach the gastrointestinal tract directly and to take samples if necessary.
Before Coming in for a Check-Up
- Please don't eat anything in the last 12 hours. Fasting lipid profile, blood sugar level and some other tests are important for accurate results.
- Some medications, herbal treatments and antioxidants such as Vitamin C affect blood sugar and metabolic values. Come without taking anything other than your regular and vital medication.
- Stop taking alcohol and caffeine at least a day in advance.
- Be sure to be mindful of what you eat in the last three days, eat more vegetables. It is best to avoid animal-based food and especially meat.
- Do not engage in sports or activities that will strain your body in the last day.
- If our female guests suspect pregnancy, they have to communicate this suspicion to us.
- If an effort test is to be carried out, it is best to have a suitable shoe and comfortable clothing with you. Beta blockers should not be used.
