Pituitary Tumors

Our specialist center located inside Liv Hospital Ulus Brain and Nerve Surgery Clinic is specialized in the treatment of surgical diseases of the sella, which is a special brain region, and its surrounding structures. The council consisting of neurosurgery, neuroendocrinology, neuroradiology, radiation oncology, medical oncology, neurology, ophthalmology and neuropathology departments works together to establish the most appropriate treatment method for each of our patients.

Council evaluation

Every patient applying to the Liv Hospital Pituitary Gland Surgery Center is first clinically evaluated by the Brain and Nerve Surgery and Neuroendocrinology departments. All laboratory and radiology examinations necessary to identify the patient's condition are carried out and interpreted by the relevant departments. The council deliberates on the treatment method to be used. The follow-up period after surgery or medical treatment is closely monitored, and periodical controls are carried out. As necessary, radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy treatments are coordinated with the relevant departments.
