The inner part of the tooth has nerve and vascular tissue (pulp tissue), which has an important role in feeding and protecting the tooth tissues. Dental caries can develop as a result of progression or approaching to the pulp.



In this case, patients may experience pain in the tooth, inflammation or an abscess in that area. In this case, the teeth are treated endodontically.

Endodontics are involved in canal treatment of abscesses or inflamed teeth.
