3 Tesla MR

MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), one of the most advanced and advanced radiological methods used in medical diagnosis, creates images using the natural parameters in the human body. MR devices consist of devices with magnetic field strength between 0.2 and 3 Tesla MR. The Liv Hospital Radiology Clinic offers high-quality images and patient comfort in our country with a large magnet (70 cm) 3 Tesla MR device. Thus, detailed images are obtained.

3 Tesla MR’s Advantages

  • The width of the device interior improves the patient's compliance with MRI and comfort. It makes it possible for patients with fear of staying indoors and having overweight to undergo MRI.
  • One of the most important factors affecting patient comfort in 3T devices is the high sound level during the examination. Some patients may be very uncomfortable. The 3T GE device features a sound attenuation technique that can reduce the sound heard by the patient by up to 40%.
  • Music system and video broadcasting are also available for patients to have a pleasant time during the examination.
  • Image quality is high in all shots, thanks to a video disturbance prevention program that originates from motion, MRI-compatible metal prostheses and implants.

When and Why?

In the presence of a direct X-ray, or in the presence of findings in which the patient's clinical condition cannot be explained, MRI, which is one of the advanced radiological examinations which plays a leading role in diagnosing diseases, is requested.

MRI is one of the first examinations required to evaluate many organs such as the brain, which cannot be demonstrated on direct radiographs. Computerized tomography (MRI) provides more successful images for the evaluation of bone structures and MRI for demonstrating soft tissues.
