Liv Hospital Department of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging is a systematic approach to the diagnosis and treatment of molecular medicine at the level of each other.



Nuclear medicine, a branch of medicine that uses radioactive substances in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, has an important place in the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of oncological diseases especially with the applications where functional and structural evaluation can be performed simultaneously.

The Department of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging is at the level of B4 where polyclinic procedures and diagnostic tests are performed.

Department of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging

In the Department of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, imaging is performed by means of a gamma camera or PET \ CT, depending on the type of radiation emitted by the radioactive material used. With current devices, all organs and systems are diagnosed and the treatment can be managed. The functions of many organs and systems are evaluated. In some tumors, especially thyroid diseases, painful bone metastases and inflammatory joint diseases, radioactive materials are applied for treatment. 1 from only 3 PEM devices in Europe is at Live Hospital in Turkey.
