Lymph Node Evaluation Program at Liv Hospital

Patients who apply to our hospital with complaints of enlarged lymph nodes are first given a physical examination by General Surgery Specialists. Patients are then directed to the Radiology Department for necessary radiological examinations. Depending on the patient's history and physical examination results, blood tests may be performed if necessary. Following radiological results, if the diagnosis is still uncertain or there is suspicion of cancer, biopsy is recommended. Needle biopsies are performed by an Interventional Radiology Specialist under the guidance of USG, CT or MRI. Open biopsies are generally performed by General Surgery Specialists, taking into account the location of the lymph node.
