Emergency Medicine
Liv Hospital Gaziantep Emergency Service provides a timely and complete service for problems that occur in emergency situations, with experienced physicians and related health personnel.
Color coding is applied for an effective service delivery in our emergency department.
The practice of triage is used to determine the order of priority in terms of examination, treatment, medical and surgical interventions.
The practice of color coding;
Green area: They are outpatients and are not critically injured,they can care for themselves, they need to be intervened within 24 hours.
Yellow area: The patients in this group can be waited a little longer than those in the red group. Delay in the care of that patient while caring for other patients who need medical care will not cause the patient to die. They are secondary patients and require intervention within 60 minutes.
Red area: It is an emergency group. Patients who are seriously injured, whose problems or injuries need to be treated quickly, are evaluated in this group. Patients are the primary emergencies and are treated immediately.
Regardless of whether critical patients are registered or not, the necessary medical intervention is immediately applied.
Due to the multidisciplinary nature of the service offered, for a patient evaluated in the emergency room, when necessary, the support of the relevant branch in the hospital contributes to the treatment of the patient.
