Cross Transfer

Cross Transfer Overview

It is a type of transplantation performed for live donor patients whose blood group is incompatible or immunologically unsuitable for transplantation.

The basic principle is that a patient and donor whose blood group incompatibility is immunologically unsuitable for transplantation with their own donor should be replaced by another patient and donor with the same condition. For example, a patient with blood group A exchanges a donor with blood group B for another patient with blood group A and a donor with blood group B. It should be noted that the age and health status of the donors are similar.
