As the Liv Hospital family, we came together with the Ahbap Association for a special awareness project on 3 December, the World Day of Persons with Disabilities. Under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey, many famous names from art, sports, business and social life such as Ömür Gedik, Neşe Gönül, Gülşah Alkoçlar, Zehra Öney, Beste Yurttaş, Melis Özer, Begüm Özer, Monik İpekel, Reyhan İpekel, Tuğba Aktay, Banu Taşkın, Duran Arslan participated in the event we held with special athletes. Liv Hospital Group Coordinator Meri İstiroti and Istanbul Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Prof. Dr. Burhanettin Hacıcaferoğlu gave the opening speeches at the event. The exhibition, which consisted of photographs taken to raise awareness of the process of re-creating oneself despite the difficulties faced by our special athletes, was the focus of the guests' attention. We would like to thank all our guests for attending our event, which ended with the awarding of medals to the athletes, and for not leaving us alone on this special day.

The photographs exhibited under the slogan "Strength is in our hearts" can be seen at Vadistanbul Shopping Mall from 2 to 17 December.

In October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Liv Hospital Ulus carried out a large-scale social responsibility project based on the value it attaches to public health. The social responsibility project "We Know Breast Cancer" involved the voluntary participation of many businessmen, artists, leaders of non-governmental organisations and prominent figures of the community life to raise awareness of the importance of annual health check-ups and healthy nutrition in breast cancer. The Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism, Özgül Özkan Yavuz, gave her valuable support to the project and prominent social and business figures such as Demet Sabancı, Revna Demirören, Feryal Gülman, Metin Hara, Neşe Gönül, Monik İpekel, Meri İstiroti highlighted the importance of nutrition in breast cancer through their photographs. The exhibition of the project, which brings together famous faces with photographs that raise awareness of the fact that a balanced and plant-based diet reduces the risk of breast cancer, was held at Zorlu Centre Shopping Mall. The proceeds from the exhibition, which featured 37 photographs of famous faces, will be donated to the citizens who lost their homes in the Giresun flood disaster. The exhibition, which was attended by many volunteers from the world of art and society, raised awareness of breast cancer and the importance of annual mammograms for early detection. As part of the "We Know Breast Cancer" project of Liv Hospital Ulus, 1000 people will undergo health checks for early diagnosis of breast cancer. As part of the project, which started in October, a questionnaire was prepared on the age and family characteristics of the person. According to the results of the questionnaire, participants with risk factors will undergo a breast examination with mammography.
